Description

The Flat 6 Motorsports by EVOMS Performance Diverter Valves replace the cheap OEM plastic diverter valves that are prone to leaking boost with tuned and even stock 958 Cayenne Turbo models. Flat 6 Motorsports has partnered with Evolution Motorsports (EVOMS), a renowned Porsche tuning company to offer a high-quality diverter valve solution. We leveraged their expertise in tuning high powered Porsche vehicles for decades. Paired with precision manufacturing, these performance diverter valves are built to last.

The performance diverter valves use a 100% 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum housing with an engineered spring rate capable of handling higher boost applications. These performance diverter valves will hold consistent boost pressure, maximizing power delivery along with much quicker recovery, enabling faster acceleration.

For any 958 Cayenne Turbo running a tune, these are a must-have!

Features

  • Quicker turbo spool up
  • Faster transition between gears
  • Holds higher boost levels where the factory diverter valves fail
  • 6061-T6 billet aluminum construction
  • Tested on 650HP+ 958 Turbo

Installation

The diverter valves are 100% bolt-on and installation can occur in a few hours.

Worthwhile upgrade. Noticeable improvement in boost pressure

Posted by James C on 7th Jun 2026

Yesterday, I installed a pair of Flat6 Motorsports diverter valves on my 2016 Cayenne GTS (958.2) to address intermittent turbo boost loss after replacing multiple sensors with no success. A heads-up for other 958.2 owners: the installation was different than shown in the popular YouTube video. On my vehicle, the diverter valves were located behind the steel body panel, not in front of it as shown in the video. I started on the passenger-side of the vehicle. By removing the tire, fender liner and shroud for the intercooler, you can see the diverter valve, but there's no room to work on it. The passenger-side valve is best accessed from the engine bay by removing the intake hose and unclipping the breather hose. Its a one-handed operation, but from there, you can reach down and get at the valve. The driver-side valve is easiest to reach by removing the front underbody panel, similar to an oil change. I recommend replacing the OEM spring clamps with 1.25"-1.38" heavy-duty stainless band clamps, which tighten easily with a 10mm socket. Also, on the driver side, it's easier to remove the short hoses and diverter assembly as a unit rather than fighting the clamps directly on the valve. After several cuts and bruises, the upgrade was well worth it. Before the install, the vehicle was occasionally jerky under load and typically produced only a max of 10-12 psi of boost. Since installing the Flat6 diverters, power delivery is noticeably smoother, boost is much more consistent, and I've already seen peak boost pressures of 19 psi. FYI, I did not receive clamps with the diverter valves I purchased from Flat6 Motorsports. According to the video, they should have been included, but were not. In any event, I highly recommended these diverter valves.
