PPE Bar & Plate Transmission Cooler

The factory transmission cooler can become a limiting factor when towing, driving aggressively, or operating in high ambient temperatures. PPE’s upgraded cooler provides substantially more cooling capacity while retaining factory mounting locations for a straightforward bolt-on installation.

PPE Heavy-Duty Deep Transmission Pan

PPE’s cast aluminum transmission pan adds fluid capacity while also providing substantially more surface area for heat dissipation.

Features include:

• Adds approximately 2.5 quarts of transmission fluid capacity
• High-strength A356.0-T6 cast aluminum construction
• Large external cooling fins for increased heat dissipation
• Internal baffles help reduce fluid slosh and improve heat transfer
• Integrated magnetic stainless-steel drain plug
• 1/8-inch NPT port for optional temperature or pressure monitoring
• Compatible with OEM-style transmission filter and gasket
• Increased rigidity and impact resistance compared with the factory pan

Fresh Filter & Gasket Included

Since installation of the deep pan requires opening the transmission, this bundle includes a new PPE-compatible transmission filter and compound pan gasket so the transmission can be serviced at the same time.

Transmission heat is one of the biggest contributors to accelerated fluid degradation and transmission wear. Combining increased cooler capacity with additional transmission fluid volume helps the 10L80 better manage heat during towing, performance driving, and other demanding conditions.
