Cast Aluminum Engine Oil Pan
Upgrade from the stock plastic oil pan to the PPE Heavy-Duty High-Capacity Cast Aluminum Oil Pan for complete oil drainage, improved durability, enhanced cooling, and superior engine protection.
During each regular oil change, the stock plastic pan retains a significant amount of dirty oil sludge which contaminates the fresh engine oil being added right away. The PPE Pan is engineered to ensure complete oil drainage, preventing contamination of fresh motor oil and ensuring clean, efficient lubrication from the start. Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, the PPE oil pan offers 1.9 quarts of additional oil capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance. The external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your engine cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance rigidity.
The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the cast-aluminum surfaces, enhancing heat transfer. These baffles also reduce fluid sloshing, ensuring consistent fluid pickup. Together with the longitudinal external fins, they form a stiff, Cross-Bracing structure, distributing loads better and increasing impact resistance. An ultra-strong stainless steel drain plug is included. It’s equipped with a powerful high-temperature rated neodymium magnet to pull ferrous debris out of your engine oil, providing additional protection to engine components and extending oil life.
